Ed Sheeran divulgou, nesta sexta-feira (27), a versão Tour Edition do seu mais recente álbum “=”, com quatro novas faixas.
As duas músicas inéditas são “I Will Remember You” e “Welcome To The World”. As outras novidades são os lançamentos oficiais de “One Life” e “Penguins”, que fizeram parte da trilha sonora do filme Yesterday, de 2019.

As duas canções são estilisticamente típicas de Sheeran, que desde sempre aposta em seu talento para produções mais acústicas. Com melodias tranquilas e letras românticas, os singles vieram para ficar!

Mas essas não são as únicas novidades em “= Tour Edition”. O relançamento conta com mais faixas extras, que já eram conhecidas pelo público. Confira:
“Ei pessoal. Afterglow é uma música que escrevi ano passado que queria lançar para vocês. Não é o primeiro single do próximo álbum, é apenas uma música que adoro e espero que você também ame. Gratidão! Tenha um descanso festivo seguro e feliz no Ano Novo. De volta ao mundo de ser pai para mim agora”. Escreveu o artista nas redes sociais quando lançou a canção, em dezembro de 2020.
No Twitter, ele anunciou a “edição da turnê” do álbum, que deve incluir 9 faixas adicionais, 2 novas e 2 que foram apresentadas em um filme chamado ‘Yesterday’. Em seu anúncio, ele disse:
“Tem música nova do Ed a caminho! A edição da turnê de ‘=’ sai nesta sexta-feira. Inclui 9 faixas adicionais, 2 novas e 2 que foram apresentadas em ‘Yesterday’.”

Com “Penguins”, os fãs podem se deliciar com mais um single super acústico de Ed Sheeran!
“Peru” é um pouco diferente do que estamos acostumados a ouvir de Sheeran. A faixa é uma colaboração com o cantor nigeriano Fireboy DML e tem uma batida mais dançante e sintética, como algo que ouviríamos em uma festa.
Tendo atingido o Top 5 da parada britânica, o hit foi desenvolvido a convite do britânico, que mandou uma mensagem a Fireboy DML dizendo ser um grande fã da canção “Peru” – originalmente lançada em 2021 como parte de seu trabalho solo.
Welcome To The World
Com um ritmo melancólico e emotivo, pode-se supor que Sheeran tenha composto “Welcome To The World” em homenagem a seus filhos. Confira a letra da canção:
